Swiss-American Council of Women is a non-profit organization committed to making a difference by strengthening the international role, leadership and professional development of women.

We are dedicated to creating opportunities for Women to fulfill their personal and professional potential through a transatlantic platform that offers an international network of partners, resources, and services. 

Who is Helvetia?

Helvetia is a women -depicted standing tall and strong on many Swiss coins and postage stamps.  Like her sister Lady Liberty, Helvetia is more than an icon.

Helvetia is a symbol of great fortitude, triumph, and plentitude.  She is the changing face of the women in our global community.  She is - mother, daughter, sister and the working mother of today and tomorrow.
